  • Fits 1968 - 1973 Ford Mustang (5.0L OHV 8cyl 302cu in with 164 ring gear count flywheel)
  • Fits 1969 - 1973 Ford Mustang (5.8L OHV 8cyl 351cu in with 164 ring gear count flywheel)

 

Note: Replaces factory lever style clutch with reinforced heavy-duty diaphragm style 11" clutch and nodular ductile iron flywheel. Must be used together as a set without reusing any existing components

 

ClutchMax Stage 3 Clutch Kit and Flywheel set key features:

  • Flywheel is made from high magnesium content nodular cast iron material for greater strength and extended use. Less expensive than billet steel, chromoly steel or billet aluminum flywheels yet 2X stronger than OE flywheel.
  • Pressure Plate made from Ductile/ Nodular Cast Iron for maximum strength and highest wear resistant.
  • Diaphragm springs made from 51CrV4 steel endure a multiple stage, heat-treating process for uncompromising performance and durability.
  • Disc made from dual composite friction (segmented copper ceramic / carbon kevlar composite) with precision broached sprung hub for great holding power and smooth engagement.
  • Properly suited for daily use, performance street driving and moderate track use.
