All ClutchMax clutch disc plates are newly manufactured units from the highest grade material available. Most performance clutch manufacturers modify the OE clutch disc to produce limited benefits and fuctions. ClutchMax engineers entirely new drive plates and proprietary friction materials for uncompromising function and performance.

Street Performance Clutch Disc Plates (offered in ClutchMax Stage 1~Stage 3 clutch kit)

Premium HD Woven Organic Friction, Carbon Kevlar Composite Friction, Steel-back Brass Plus Composite Friction and Dual Composite Friction materials provide high heat tolerance, quick recovery and higher burst strength.
Quicker shifting and smooth engagement.
Heavy duty torsional damper springs provide quieter operation.
Precision broached splines ensure an exact fit for long spline life and better clutch release.
Heat treated spring windows and drive plates.

Race Performance Clutch Disc Plates (offered in ClutchMax Stage 4~Stage 6 clutch kit)

Premium Copper Ceramic (Cerametallic) or Sintered Iron friction materials provide highest heat tolerance, high coefficient of friction and low wear rates.
Quicker shifting and direct engagement.
All drive plates are made from 1045 high-carbon steel, then heat treated and zinc-plated to resist warping, cracking, and corrosion under the most severe racing conditions.
Precision broached splines ensure an exact fit for long spline life and better clutch release.
