ClutchMax introduces new solid flywheel conversion clutch system for BMWs with M54/M56 and manual gearbox. This system provides 30% increase in horsepower and torque holding capacity with excellent drivability characteristics. Proprietary HD pressure plate provides a more consistent pedal feel, clean release and smoother load transfers between shifting engagements even at 10,000 RPM. Full faced sprung hub disc features precision broached spline hub and heavy-duty woven organic frictions. One piece solid 4140 chromoly lightweight forged steel flywheel is CNC machined and balanced within 0.100 oz for smooth operation at all RPM range.

Solid Flywheel Upgrade Clutch Unit:  A stock clutch set up on modern BMW uses a dual mass flywheel. Dual mass flywheels are generally heavy and leave a lot to be desired in terms of performance and durability under both street and track driving. One of the easiest ways to change the driving characteristics is to delete the dual mass flywheel and replace it with solid flywheel that is significantly lighter. Combination of lightweight solid flywheel and HD clutch provides better clutch feel, firm grip and more lively rev. Proudly made in the U.S.A.
