ClutchMax introduces solid flywheel conversion clutch kit for E46 3-series, E39 5-series and Z series with M52/M54 motor. This system provides 24% increase in horsepower and torque holding capacity over stock with excellent drivability characteristics. Proprietary diaphragm pressure plate provides more consistent pedal feel, clean release and smoother load transfers between shifting engagements even at 10,000 RPM. HD organic full face sprung disc delivers longer lifespan and smooth clutch action. Solid flywheel is computer balanced within 0.100 oz for precision and smooth operation at all RPM range.

What's included in this complete clutch flywheel system:

• 1 each Solid HD Nodular Cast Flywheel (Replaces heavy and inconsistent factory dual mass flywheel)
• 1 each OE Duty Reinforced Pressure Plate

Advantage of Solid Flywheel Conversion Unit:  A stock clutch set up on modern BMW uses a dual mass flywheel. Dual mass flywheels are generally heavy and leave a lot to be desired in terms of performance and durability under both street and track driving. One of the easiest ways to change the driving characteristics of your BMW is to delete the dual mass flywheel and replace it with solid flywheel that is much more consistent. The HD sprung clutch set combined with the deletion of the dual mass flywheel, you'll get improved engine response and better feeling clutch that's designed for longer lifespan.
